Give me Ghostbusters 3 or give me death

Invisible man? Sleeping in your bed?

Who you gonna call?

(Ray Parker Jr.) Err . . . I mean Ghostbusters?

I heard about this crappy fan film called Return of the Ghostbusters and it made me angry, well maybe not angry, let's just say off-put, because I have always wanted to see a third installment of "Ghostbusters." What a horrible tease, Return of the Ghostbusters, pfft.

There are a number of reasons why I want a Ghostbusters 3, not the least of which are: the first movie was spectacular and the second movie really sucked.

Here are 10 questions without answers and reasons that "Ghostbusters II" was so bad:

1) Why were the Ghostbusters broke, out of work bums only five years after they not only saved New York City but the entire world?

2) They mention that the Ghostbusters were being sued by many governmental entities within New York City and state. How could the government sue them, they saved the world?

3) On the same topic, wouldn't a judge just throw the lawsuit out of court when he saw the news footage of the 100-foot marshmallow man rampaging through the city?

4) Whose idea was a river a slime anyway?

5) What the hell was 'Viggo' planning to do in a one year old baby's body? People who eat pureed food are not that frightening.

6) Why didn't they get Bronson Pinchot to play the feminine museum employee? The guy they had was awful, at least with Pinchot the movie could have had some redemption for the lack of a cohesive or entertaining plot.

7) Louis randomly starts dating Jeanine? I thought she was seeing Egon.

8) Good slime? Bad slime? What?

9) Let me get this straight. If you cover the Statue of Liberty in silly string and play Jackie Wilson's "Higher and Higher" this will cause 186 tons of steel and copper to seperate from its foundation, walk across a habor and bash a hole in the art museum. Okay, got it, I think.

10) The first soundtrack gets Ray Parker Jr.'s catchy "Ghostbusters" theme. The second soundtrack gets Bobby Brown.

So give me a third Ghostbusters! Right now. Rumors abound in blogs and chat rooms and forums but people always speculate, especially on the web. This could be a cool sequel with the right combinations of actors.

I know some of you agree with me, leave your comments, maybe we could start a petition or something.
